Kaupunginarkiston edessä, kolmen perättäisen tiilisen muurin päällä on rytmitettynä seitsemän miestä ja seitsemän naista ja kaksi isoa betonilaattaa, joiden molemmilla puolin on reliefit ja toisessa teksti kaupunginarkisto. Miehen ja naisen savimuovailuista otettiin molemmista kymmenen kipsimuottia. Ne ja laatat valettiin Oulun Rajavillen betonitehtaassa tekemieni kuviointi- ja kiviainessuunnitelmien mukaan. Olin itse koko prosessin ajan mukana työskentelyssä.

In front of the city archives, on top of three consecutive brick walls, there are seven men and seven women in rhythm and two large concrete slabs with reliefs on both sides and the text city archives on the other. Ten plaster molds were taken from both the man and woman clay molds. They and the tiles were cast according to the patterning and aggregate plans I made at the Rajaville concrete plant in Oulu. I myself was involved in the work throughout the process.
